No, we do not. We simply require the FAFSA. Other institutions may require the Profile. Be sure to check with them.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n \n My parents do not think we are eligible for aid. Should we skip filling out the FAFSA?<\/span>\n\n \n \n \n \n<\/svg>\n <\/button>\n \n

No. Many students qualify for aid, even if they do not think they will. All students are eligible for Federal Loans regardless of need. If you plan to not file the FAFSA, you must contact the Financial Aid Office at 717-867-6126 or finaid@lvc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n \n How do I apply for State Grant?<\/span>\n\n \n \n \n \n<\/svg>\n <\/button>\n \n

The FAFSA serves as your application for Pennsylvania and most state grants. For the PA State Grant, it must be filed by May 1.<\/p>\n

As a new student, you will also be required to complete the State Grant Form. You can link to this form after submitting your FAFSA, if you listed an institution located in PA first in your list of schools. If you miss the link (only available when you initially file the FAFSA), PHEAA will email you about completing the State Grant Form.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

\n \n Do I have to be accepted to LVC before I apply for aid?<\/span>\n\n \n \n \n \n<\/svg>\n <\/button>\n \n

No, you can apply for financial aid before being accepted. However, you will not receive a financial aid offer until you have been accepted.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

Students are notified by the Financial Aid Office on what required documents are needed to complete the verification process.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n

The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), in conjunction with PASFAA (Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators), hosts FAFSA Completion Help Events from September through February of the senior year in high school. These events are free and open to the public.\u00a0 Check the PHEAA website at PHEAA.org<\/a>\u00a0for dates and locations.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n \n
