The Subcommittee was created to monitor the College\u2019s 403(b) Plan and ensure that the Plan meets faculty and staff needs.\u00a0 It strives to make certain that all areas of campus personnel are represented.\u00a0 With that in mind, the Subcommittee currently consists of the following individuals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 Faculty Members<\/li>\n<li>1 Finance Representative<\/li>\n<li>1 Administration Representative<\/li>\n<li>1 Human Resources Representative<\/li>\n<li>1 Board Member with legal or employee benefits background<\/li>\n<li>1 Staff Member<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Plan\u2019s Investment Advisor is Conrad Siegel Investment Advisors, Inc.<\/p>\n<p>As fiduciaries, the primary responsibility of the Subcommittee members is to act in the best interest of the Plan\u2019s participants.\u00a0 The Subcommittee has implemented an Investment Policy Statement which includes procedures to make certain that its actions are prudent and well documented.\u00a0 At its quarterly meetings, the Subcommittee addresses issues such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintaining the Investment Policy Statement<\/li>\n<li>Selecting investment options<\/li>\n<li>Monitor investment options<\/li>\n<li>Approving investment option changes<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring investment education and communication material are made available to participants.<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing all costs associated with the management of the Plan\u2019s investment program including expense ratios of each investment option<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and assess Plan Record Keeper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ll decisions regarding administrative issues, investment options and communication efforts are made for the exclusive purpose of benefiting the Plan participants. Through its actions, the 403(b) Oversight Committee aims to promote participants\u2019 success in achieving their retirement saving goals.\u00a0 While Plan participants are ultimately responsible for their own retirement decisions, the 403(b) Oversight Subcommittee seeks to maintain the Plan so that it allows employees to invest in accordance with their risk tolerances, saving and investing horizons, and retirement goals.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n        <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":10,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-15","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"section_menu":22},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.7 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>403(b) Oversight Committee - Human Resources<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Lebanon Valley College\u2019s 403(b) Oversight Subcommittee was formed in April 2011.
