The College mostly purchases Windows desktops and notebooks from Dell. For recommended systems at special LVC discounts, visit the <a title=\"Dell website\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dell.com\/lvc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dell website<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lenovo.com\/usstudents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lenovo website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Macintosh with OS X<\/h4>\n<p>Apple offers iMac all-in-one desktops and MacBook notebooks. All Macs come with OS X, an operating system that includes sophisticated networking and video editing capabilities. <a href=\"https:\/\/store.apple.com\/us_edu_23437\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Öйú×ã²ÊÍø Apple&#8217;s Custom Store for LVC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Microsoft Office 365<\/h4>\n<p><em><strong>Provided at no cost<\/strong><\/em> to\u00a0every student and full-time employee at LVC. With Office 365, you will have access to the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may install on up to 5 compatible PC and Mac computers, plus 5 tablet devices (including iPad)<\/li>\n<li>Office 365 includes 1TB of storage from OneDrive and can automatically sync with your mobile devices<\/li>\n<li>The Office 365 subscription continues as long as you&#8217;re enrolled or employed at LVC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>To download your free Microsoft Office software, follow these steps:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Desktop or Laptop Computers:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/login.microsoftonline.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Log in to Office 365.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click on &#8220;Apps&#8221; on the left-hand navigation menu<\/li>\n<li>Click the &#8220;Install Apps&#8221; button in the top right corner, and choose what you&#8217;d like to download<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Mobile or Tablet Devices:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download the desired app from your app store<\/li>\n<li>After completing the installation, sign in with your LVC credentials (email address and password) for full editing capability<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Consult <a href=\"https:\/\/aka.ms\/office365help\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">these instructions<\/a> if you have any trouble installing office.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Adobe Express<\/h4>\n<p>The College now offers Adobe Express at no cost to all students and to full-time faculty and staff upon request. Adobe Express is a versatile cloud-based design platform that allows you to easily create videos, PDFs, web pages, graphics, and other digital assets. Whether you are using a tablet, mobile device, or computer, you can access this powerful tool and bring your creative ideas to life. Plus, Adobe Express includes helpful in-app training tutorials to assist you in mastering your designs.
